Podiatry

WHAT IS PODIATRY?

Podiatry is a medical specialty concerned with the treatment of conditions affecting the feet, ankles, and lower extremities, which may also include the legs. Training to become a podiatric doctor includes the study of anatomy, pharmacology, general medicine & surgery, physiology, and other medical fields. Podiatry can extend into various fields of medicine, including sports medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and biomechanics.
