Fecal Incontinence

What is Fecal Incontinence?
Fecal Incontinence is the inability to control bowel movements, causing stool (feces) to leak unexpectedly from the rectum.  People who suffer with fecal incontinence experience problems with their lifestyle and daily activities.

Fecal incontinence can be embarrassing. But don’t shy away from talking to your doctor.Treatments are available that can improve fecal incontinence and your quality of life.

What can I do?
One of our gastroenterologists, Dr. Paul Oh, now offers a new in-office medical procedure for the indication of fecal incontinence in patients 18 years or older who have failed conservative therapy (diet, fiber, and medication).

If you are interested in learning about this procedure or would like to schedule a consultation, please contact our office and one of our receptionists will be glad to schedule an appointment for you.  Our office number is (336) 538-2355.
