Walk-In Clinic

Kernodle Clinic Walk-in offers the PCR Covid test.  The time frame for results is generally 24-48 hours.  Infusion therapy is not available at the Walk-in.  Covid testing requires an office visit with a provider.  Requirements include:  doctor visit, photo identification and insurance information (self-pay option available).  If patient is under 18, parent must be with patient.

Please arrive at least 45 minutes prior to closing time. 
8:00am – 7:00pm, Monday – Friday
9:00 am – 1:00 pm Saturdays*
1:00 pm – 4: 00 pm Sundays

At the Kernodle Walk-In Clinic, we address a wide range of Urgent Care, Industrial Care and Family Medicine needs. We proudly provide efficient, courteous, and cost-effective care for patients ages 3 and above (so far, our oldest patient is 105). Our providers are board-certified physicians with experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Sports Medicine, and Occupational Medicine.

We are at the heart of the Kernodle Clinic, which boasts a 70+ year history of quality medical care. Our innovative multi-specialty clinic staffs more than 95 medical providers in 18 areas of practice. Our use of Electronic Medical Records allows us to quickly access your medical records if you are a patient within the Kernodle system or if you have been seen in the Walk-In Clinic in the past.

Kernodle Walk-In Clinic is open seven days a week. The clinic is equipped with on-site digital x-rays and real-time laboratory testing. Our providers have extensive experience in urgent care medicine, and are available after hours to provide care for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries that can’t or shouldn’t wait until your primary care provider’s office opens for you to receive treatment. Our urgent care providers are also available for routine care, acute care, and physicals, including sports physicals. If a medical condition is discovered that will require regular care, we can match you with a highly qualified primary physician and/or specialist.

WHAT IS A WALK-IN CLINIC?

Walk-In clinic is not a replacement for emergency care, which is what you need if you have a life-threatening illnesses or injury. Walk-in care is appropriate when you experience an illness or injury that requires care within 24 hours. We routinely treat children (age 3 and older) and adults after accidents or falls, sprains, strains and broken bones, minor trauma and cuts that require stitches, fever, flu, vomiting, diarrhea and nausea, skin rashes and infections. Appointments are not required. Just walk in for prompt care.

As a courtesy to our patients, we do file insurance claims directly to all insurance plans, even those that do not include Kernodle Clinic physicians in their network. However, your copayment, coinsurance and deductible costs may be higher if Kernodle Clinic is not in your network.  Please bring your health insurance information with you.
