Coming from a nursing background, I decided I wanted to provide compassionate care and strong provider-patient relationships. I believe in creating a safe space where patients can speak freely about their health concerns. I strive to make my patients comfortable by being an active listener as soon as they meet me. Women’s health provides a unique opportunity in medicine to interact with patients throughout different stages of their lives. I began my nursing career in critical care and emergency medicine. Eventually, I went back to school to become a nurse practitioner and now specialize in women’s health. In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my husband, spending time outside with Lincoln (my English Golden Retriever), and watching college football.
