Jon Florance, MD

As an Army veteran with more than 20 years of service and deep ties to North Carolina, I am honored to hold appointments at both Duke Health and the Durham VA Medical Center. At the VA Medical Center, I have the opportunity to work with trainees and medical students, while my community-based practice at Duke Health Kernodle Clinic allows me to care for patients outside the academic setting. After training at world-class institutions, including Harvard Medical School and the nation’s top-ranked orthopedic hospital, I take great pride in bringing that standard of care to our local community.
