Amy Wilson, DPM

I am a surgical podiatrist specializing in the treatment of foot and ankle conditions and injuries. My clinical interests include sports medicine, trauma, wound care, and the management of both acute and chronic pathologies. I care for patients with a wide range of needs—from athletic injuries to limb preservation—and my goal is to help restore function and mobility so patients can return to the activities they love.

My approach treatment is patient-centered, focused on clear communication, shared decision-making, and personalized treatment plans. I believe in empowering patients with the knowledge and options they need to make informed choices that align with their goals and lifestyle.

Originally from the West Coast, I completed my medical training at the California School of Podiatric Medicine and a three-year surgical residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco, where I served as Chief Resident. I began my career in private practice in Georgia before relocating to North Carolina to be closer to family.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy hiking, live music, good food, and spending time with my husband, our two children, and our dog, Doc.
