Jordan-Lee Napolitano: A Patient-Focused Approach to Orthopaedic Care

By: Jenn Campbell

In the evolving world of healthcare, compassionate providers who combine clinical expertise with a patient-centered philosophy are becoming increasingly important. Jordan-Lee Napolitano represents a new generation of medical professionals dedicated to helping patients regain mobility, confidence, and independence through orthopaedic and sports medicine care.

As a physician assistant at Kernodle Clinic in Burlington, North Carolina, Napolitano specializes in orthopaedics and sports medicine, treating patients of all ages with injuries to bones, joints, and musculoskeletal conditions. Her work includes caring for individuals recovering from traumatic injuries as well as those managing chronic wear-and-tear conditions that develop over time.

Napolitano’s approach to medicine emphasizes collaboration and communication. She believes in working closely with patients and their loved ones to ensure they fully understand both their condition and the available treatment options. This philosophy reflects a growing trend in healthcare toward shared decision-making, where patients play an active role in shaping their own treatment plans.

“The most gratifying part of my job is helping people regain mobility and independence,” Napolitano states in her provider biography. Her focus on restoring quality of life underscores the essential role orthopaedic specialists play in helping patients return to the activities they value most — whether that means competing in athletics, returning to work, or simply moving comfortably through daily life.

Napolitano earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Elon University in 2025, preparing her for a career that bridges advanced medical knowledge with direct patient care. Physician assistants are highly trained healthcare professionals who diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, assist in procedures, and work alongside physicians in a variety of specialties.

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, she moved to North Carolina for school and liked the area so much that she decided to stay. Beyond her professional work, Napolitano enjoys hobbies that reflect patience, creativity, and a love of the outdoors. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, growing orchids, and hiking with family.

As healthcare continues to place greater emphasis on individualized care and long-term wellness, professionals like Jordan-Lee Napolitano are helping shape a more collaborative and compassionate patient experience in orthopaedics and sports medicine. Kernodle Clinic is proud to welcome her to our team.
