Advanced Cardiology Service Offerings

By: Kelli Emery and Aslee Watson

We are fortunate to collaborate with exceptional Duke providers who help expand access to high-quality care for our patients, closer to home.

Our Electrophysiology team specializes in treating heart arrhythmias, focusing on the heart’s electrical system. They manage conditions through medication therapy and advanced procedures such as catheter ablations, as well as the implantation of pacemakers and ICDs (defibrillators). Common conditions treated include atrial fibrillation and tachycardia.

Our Congestive Heart Failure specialists are dedicated to keeping patients out of the hospital while improving overall quality of life. Their approach includes careful medication management, an emphasis on lifestyle changes, and monitoring of daily weights. They also evaluate and coordinate advanced therapies such as ICDs and LVADs (Left Ventricular Assist Devices).

We also partner with a Metabolic Health Cardiologist who focuses on managing triglycerides, cholesterol, and chronic inflammation. This specialty takes a comprehensive, lifestyle-driven approach, emphasizing diet and exercise to support long-term cardiovascular health.

In addition, our Interventional and Structural Cardiologists treat patients with coronary artery disease, including arterial blockages, and structural heart conditions such as septal defects (holes in the heart).

We truly value our partnership with Duke providers. Their collaboration, expertise, and genuine appreciation for our team make a meaningful difference in the care we deliver to our patients.
