My journey to midwifery was influenced by some of the strong women in my life: my aunt who is a nurse, another aunt who had all of her babies with midwives, and my mom who has always been drawn to people’s pregnancy and birth stories. After working with vascular and reconstructive plastic surgery patients on a progressive care unit as a nurse, I am thrilled to be working as a midwife, where I have long known I am meant to be. My goal as a provider is to empower clients and their families throughout their health care journey through open communication, informed choice, and shared decision-making. I am dedicated to providing evidence-based reproductive health care across the lifespan to people of all backgrounds, regardless of age, gender-identity, sexual orientation, race, or religion. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and camping, vegan cooking and baking, fostering kittens, podcasts, and spending time with my wife, pets, and friends.
