Joy Lee, DNP, FNP-C

I am excited to begin my career as a nurse practitioner with the wonderful cardiology team at Duke Kernodle Clinic. My passion for cardiology grew during my six years of nursing experience, including caring for critically ill patients in the COVID-19 ICU and working with patients undergoing cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgery in perioperative settings. These experiences sparked my interest in caring for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions and inspired me to pursue a career in cardiology as a nurse practitioner. I look forward to expanding my knowledge, continuing to develop my skills in acute cardiovascular care and providing patient-centered care to patients and their families for many years to come.
