My previous endeavors include authoring grants for clinical research in Alzheimer’s disease in the Department of Neurology and Radiology at University of Tennessee, a Dean’s Scholarship to Eckerd College, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Chemistry with Honors, organic synthesis at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute in Florida, a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and Master of Public Health from Touro University in California. As a PA student I helped organize a student run health clinic for medically underserved individuals, now managed by the Health Department in Vallejo, California. After practicing a few years in internal medicine, I obtained additional training through an Advanced Practice Providers Neurology Residency at Duke University in Durham. I previously practiced at Duke Neurology of Raleigh and consider it a privilege to be joining the practice of Dr. Hemang Shah at Kernodle Clinic.
