The Kernodle Clinic Family Medicine department addresses a wide range of family medicine needs. We proudly provide efficient, courteous, and cost-effective care for patients ages 3 and above. Our family medicine providers have extensive experience and are available for routine care, acute care, and physicals, including sports physicals.
Family Medicine Providers
David M. Bronstein, MD received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine. He completed his resident at Duke University Medical Center. As an undergraduate, he received a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of California and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manitoba. Dr. Bronstein is board certified in family medicine. He joined Kernodle Clinic in 2000 and practices at our Elon location.
James F. Hedrick, MD received his medical degree and completed his residence at East Carolina University. He is board certified in family medicine. Dr. Hedrick joined Kernodle Clinic in 2001 and practices at our Elon location.
Dale E. Feldpausch, MD is board certified in family medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. His medical degree is from Wayne State University School of Medicine, and he completed his internship and residency at Sparrow Hospital and Michigan State University. Dr. Feldpausch practices at our Mebane location.
Marcus Babaoff, MD received his medical degree from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill School of Medicine. Dr. Babaoff completed his residency at Family Medicine, Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, NC. Dr. Babaoff practices at our Elon location.
Sarah K. Gauger, MSN, RN, FNP-BC, ADM, is a registered nurse and board certified family nurse practitioner with advanced diabetes management certification. As an undergraduate, she attended Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing and Juniata College. Her master’s degree (MSN) is from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. Ms. Gauger practices in our Mebane location.
Danielle Carter, PA-C, received a Bachelor of Arts in Kenesiologoy from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI before receiving her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Elon University. Ms. Carter will practice in our Elon location.
