Insurance Plans
One of the most frequently asked questions that we receive is
"Do you file claims?".
The answer is yes, we do file claims.
If you supply us with complete insurance
information when you are treated by our physicians, we will submit your bill
directly to your insurance company. As a courtesy to you, if you have
secondary coverage, your claim will be sent to secondary company after
processing by the primary company. Payment from insurance company is
expected within 45 days. Please remember insurance coverage is a contract
between you and your insurance company. If your insurance company denies
your claim, please contact them as we do not follow up on secondary
coverage. If your insurance company or Workers' Compensation plan denies
your claim, your account will be reclassified as a self-pay account and we
will bill you directly.

Kernodle Clinic does not participate in
any other managed care networks. If you do have insurance with another
insurance plan or through another managed care network, we will file your
insurance as a service to you. However, if your insurance does not pay or
computes a higher deductible because you received services outside your
managed care network, then you will be responsible for paying for these
services.
